Hello!
My name is Elisa Maattanen Boynton. I was born and educated in Finland and received my professional music education at Sibelius Academy, Helsinki for practical music skills. I also have a musicology degree from Helsinki University. After relocating to USA I was teaching the violin and music history at Gorin School of Music in CA. I added Suzuki method to my music teaching arsenal at Marylhurst University after moving to Oregon. I taught the violin at Marylhurst University Suzuki department and at Lewis & Clark College music department. Nowadays I am a director and teacher at Oregon City Music Academy which serves both local students in Oregon City, Oregon and music students online cross United States.
